This isn’t new but in glad it’s being seen
Free heat. Shipping pallets. Mostly 4×4 oak beams
Save the environment by releasing more carbon dioxide!
You guys realize what you’re burning right? Pallets are treated. Some with heat? Others with methy bromide…
Think before you just start burning whatever. Don’t be some of these guys and put poison into your air.
Some pallets are treated with arsenic
All pallets in the USA are stamped with a code. Only burn HT or KD pallets. The MB pallets are the treated ones with methyl bromide, which dose have traces of arsenic in it.
Yea, because nobody owns those free pallets or anything. Why not just put all of your free pallets in a free shopping cart too.
You’d be surprised how many are disposed of as scrap.
Carbon dioxide from wood fire stoves is minuscule compared to the amount of carbon dioxide from the 7billion people on the earth and all other life. Not to
Mention the amount of carbon monoxide from burning fossil fuels.
It’s actually better to heat your home with wood other than kerosine or diesel.
I rarely read “SUGGESTED POST” entries. Basically, bullshit.
We suggest that you ask first. Quite often they are free for the taking or a minimal charge
Sorry you felt that way.
Never know when you might find something of interest
I didn’t feel anyway. Just couldn’t wade through the BS.
I agree, but not this time, and most of the time. I rarely read it, and when I read I can filter it in 2.5 seconds. It’s mostly BS.
Great idea…now use that in the rockets mass fireplace.
