When you think of mayonnaise (or just mayo) you immediately think of it on a Roast beef sandwich, mixed with hard boiled eggs for an egg salad or just use on lettuce as a salad dressing..
If that is all you think about when mayonnaise comes to mind, then you are missing out on a lot of life hacks for which this great product can be used ..
Mayonnaise is a concoction of Eggs, oil, lemon and a couple of other ingredients.. and beyond the obvious uses as a food product, it can be used for removing sticky things such as bumper stickers, treating head lice, and polishing piano keys..
We visited Instructables and found their take on this product and they offered up Nine uses for mayonnaise..

Your ivory piano keys are probably filthy. Which is a shame, given that some poor elephant gave up his life for an afterlife of people playing chopsticks on his teeth. If you’re going to tickle the ivory, perhaps you should brighten it up a bit with some mayonnaise.
Just dab a little onto the dull key and leave it for five minutes or so. Then wipe off the mayo, and buff with a different cloth until the ivory shines.
Try it as a hair conditioner — seriously — a hair conditioner
If your hair looks like this, then rub in a few gobs of mayonnaise.. work it in thoroughly and let it sit and absorb into the hair for at least an hour.. Stay indoors if possible and one other tip : cover your head with plastic wrap or a shampoo head cover so as to protect the furniture..
After the requisite hour, simply shampoo the mayo out and style as you normally would.. your dry hair will look fresh and healthy and nourished :

DRY SKIN? MAYONNAISE TO THE FOREFRONT FOR THE RESCUE CURE !!
Seriously, this works extremely well for rough, dry skin patches or “elephant” elbows..
Rub on some mayo and let sit for 15 minutes or longer if you have the time.. after the allotted time, simply rub off and re treat with your normal skin conditioner.. you will be thrilled with the results..

Water rings on your finished furniture ?? simply wipe a little on the finish, let stand and wipe dry..
